I love the lack of capitalization - don't know why, but it really works. And the emotion behind this resonates. Nicely done. I really enjoy your work.

The tone is so sad--leaving the reader feeling 'unnatural sorrow.' The second stanza is my favourite with 'the stratosphere' and the 'nightmares fading from the sun.' There's such an 'ache' to this poem--it's raw and moving. :)

This has an excellent audibility to it, that stems from the diction usage. It's familiar, and relatable. I like how you don't allude to a specific time, place, or occurrence, that adds to the mystery and the universatality of the scene. MD:77.
