Wow, that was a very moving story! I really liked how you made the characters very easy to relate to. However, I felt that you had a bit too much dialogue in this piece (unless maybe that was the point?) and I felt that the passing of time was a bit confusing to follow, as well. But I loved the way that you had Jake go out and face the world, even though his best friend turned on him. It's very powerful to see that happening. And I also loved the way you portrayed him in the end: He's still the same person he was before (the jock jacket), but he's now proud of who he just revealed himself to be (the eyeliner). Very nice and interesting piece! Keep up the good work.
