The second stanza is very profound. I like your use of religious elements. The opposition between blood and water is interesting.

This is really a nice poem. I like the metaphor of the velociraptor - that was actually what attracted my attention, I never thought of reading the name of a species of dinosaur in a romantic poem - as I consider it quite creative and ingenious.

My favorite part would have to be

"Allow me to repeat the same mistakes

I am just another velociraptor, I mutter

On the hunt for a broken heart

Since the one I have just aches and aches"

as I find that it describes perfectly the human nature.
