There are two things I really like about this. First, is that it's something you wrote a couple of years ago, yes? So that made a nice contrast to your other pieces, because I could see how well your writing matured and developed. I can see how much time you have taken to really hone your craft! Awesome!
Another thing I really enjoyed about this piece was that it was so simple. I think too many poems in this day and age try to be exotic and complicated in both thier styles and messages, and this ruins the reading experience for me. But this poem was so simple and straighforward and easy to understand! It's messgae was so clear and so full of truth I loved it!

This is actually really meaningful... I don't find it depressing at all, but that's me. I'm very touched by some of the things that you said, like... "Tears of joy, tears of pain- it all comes out," and the line after that. Those are my two favorites.
