This certainly looks promising. I just love stories where the girl kicks ass and isn't the stereotypical damsel in distress or rebel without a cause. I can't wait to see Cass develop as a character and to see her relationship with, I'm assuming, Pat progress even more.

I'm guessing that Lola was the beloved person that the mob killed.

okay. hi :] this is me reviewing because you're pretty awesome and there's no other way to really put it. MRH seems to be pretty different from TCC but that's good. I like that you're expanding your horizon. And Cass seems like a really interesting character, I have to say I've already taken a liking to her. The prologue totally hooked me right in. I mean I wish there was more background info on things like the mob, but i guess by not giving away everything, you're hooking the reader in. so that's okay. I'm actually pretty excited for the next installment whenever that is posted. You're a really good author, and i'm not just saying that. Whenever you post something, I have a certain expectation, and you always go beyond what I 'm expecting. So major props to you :]
Anyways before this becomes some sort of sob confessional, I'll go. Keep on writing.
