"And she whispers blasphemies like a prayer." This is the best line. This simile describes a person who is a 'religious' gossiper. :)

I like this, it's a really great way to describe a rumor. I also like "she whispers/blasphemies/like a prayer.."... that was a really great description. Very nicely done.
