The other barely feels the aches." Loved these lines. Wow.

This whole piece was wonderful! I like the rhyme scheme & the repetition of the first stanza at the end but making it a question. There's a haunting feel of ghosts and mist in this, I love it!

"And the world is nothing more than weeping ghosts." Oh my God...the world is the sorrow of spirits...that's INCREDIBLE! It's so sad, though. :)

"When beating bonds begin to sever." I think it's interesting that so many people believe that love dies when the body dies. Can love, too, not exist in the afterlife? Just a thought. Obviously, this line was very thought-provoking.

"When we have nothing left to give." Heart-breaking.

This is beautiful, the bleakness and futility of the world summed up so well.
