Okay~!

First of all, the introduction: intriging, to say the least. Got me immediately hooked, with the whole explanation of glitched babies.

Second...the insertion of the "reports" and alternation of Melinda's "story" (?). It is a very neat idea and definately added to the story, rather than just having a plain old narration.

Thirdly, the character of Melinda and "the little boy". While Melinda seems like she could be a very well-rounded character in the making. The "liitle boy" (even if he really isn't a little boy) seems a bit cliched, i.e. "almost pupiless eyes", "come play with me".

And last, the pace of the story was a bit confusing. Okay, Melinda went outside to the the "little boy", said "I'll play with you"..."I'm here to fix your glitch"...and that's where you lost me. Maybe you could try to explain things a bit more clearly next time?

Overall, a very good start to what seems like to a unique story!

I don't have time to read it all right now, but I will come back. ^^ And, I like it so far. It's a pretty sweet idea.
