Wow. This is so powerful. My favorite is "within the same / Wanting breath that fills / These spaces between us." Yeah, it's over half the poem, but it's so... I don't even know. Amazing.

After I looked up "Meltemi," I'm getting a broader sense of this poem. The "Wanting breath" I liked so much has taken on an even deeper meaning. Truly, this poem is great. I love it now more than I did when I first read it.

This, despite it's sadness, brings a smile, too. Wonderfully written.

Felicia.

I enjoyed the imagry of air surroudning these two people, how it seperates them, and brings them together.

Much love,
Juliet.

You used the Greek word for the Etesiae? I'm impressed. Nice title. The best part of this poem is the line, "that fills these spaces between us." It's absolutely breath-taking. :)
