I would work a bit on the dialogue. You are missing a lot of ending punctuation (which becomes a little distracting), but very nice writing. Beautiful work. I loved it!

The motifs and consistency you tied along with the passage of time formed a beautiful story. I'm absolutely engrossed with the story. Wonderful job, you get a cookie x3!
