The Poem is beautiful!

Wow o_o This poem is breathtaking from the beginning, with immediate descriptions of an intriguing image. The ideas conveyed in the middle two verses are stunning and I really enjoyed the regularity of your rhymes - not many people do that on fictionpress =) Your language seems - not old, but at least traditional, in terms of grammar and line length, and it gives this poem a much better pace and beat than the free verses one finds on this website.

The last verse is devastating; after all the misfortune she seems to have gone through we find out that she's in a cage.. I liked the way you held the reader in suspense, as if the rest of the poem was just a zoomed-in image of the wolf, and the last 2 lines finally zoom out.

This is a beautiful poem, I love wolves. My guess is that she's trapped in a cage and can't break free, but it could also be a metaphor for a true person. If this turned into a story, I'd read it, good work!
