 the prophet apathetic 2009-10-22 . chapter 1Yes.
How can you look at this and think anything other than, "yes"? |
Little girl Big world 2009-10-14 . chapter 1Lovely imagery in this.
To me this kinda of describes someone who like bottles things up so that there is like an anger beneath a clam exterior, but that could just be me. You can always pull so much out of your poetry. I like it it really makes your mind work :)
Very well done! |
 Princess-anna57 2009-09-22 . chapter 1Amazing, incredible! omg I love it! O_O
~Anna~ ^_^ |
in theory 2009-08-13 . chapter 1I like how you italicise "ripple" it actually did "ripple" when I read it.
Very creepy, you leave a lot unsaid. I like. |
Ygg 2009-07-28 . chapter 1It must be a process of many years before you can manage to mirror the world ("not a ripple, not a stir") while coping with the inner demons. Yet this also firmly gives a person deep roots into the fertile soil, gnarled by the painstaking experiences of inner confrontation and sacrifice, yet blooming by the subtle grace one sometimes receives afterwards. I guess this entire process embraces a balanced tension too extreme for words, but I assume that's exactly the breeding ground for authentic creation.
This is just a thought which came to me while reading your brilliant Haiku. A favorite! |
 tonight we bloom 2009-07-14 . chapter 1Wow...
that was insanely gorgeous. So poignant and beautifully written.
I would love opinions on my work from a writer like you, it'd really mean a lot. |
 Katie Nicole 2009-06-07 . chapter 1Ooh.
I like this.
But the sea monsters kind of give me the heebeejeebees.
Makes it sound like you're secretly some scheming, evil lunatic or something, but you're really good at evading other people.
Or perhaps I'm just blowing it out of proportion.
Nonetheless, I enjoy this poem [: |
Isca 2009-06-05 . chapter 1It's beautiful to think that there are people out there who are still 'calm' and 'serene' amidst the chaos of the world. |
Faithless Juliet 2009-06-05 . chapter 1You are the lake, unmoving. Resolved.
Yet, everything around you is unsettling, and evil.
You showed all that in four lines. Fabulous work.
Much love,
Juliet. |
Ashelin 2009-06-05 . chapter 1Ooh, what a wonderful thought. I think that is why I relate to the ocean, it can be so calm, and yet so very destructive only moments later. Perhaps it is a women thing, or maybe I'm just too tempermental for my own good. I thought that the italic of "ripple" was well placed. Good job! |
