To me this kinda of describes someone who like bottles things up so that there is like an anger beneath a clam exterior, but that could just be me. You can always pull so much out of your poetry. I like it it really makes your mind work :)

I like how you italicise "ripple" it actually did "ripple" when I read it.

Very creepy, you leave a lot unsaid. I like.

It must be a process of many years before you can manage to mirror the world ("not a ripple, not a stir") while coping with the inner demons. Yet this also firmly gives a person deep roots into the fertile soil, gnarled by the painstaking experiences of inner confrontation and sacrifice, yet blooming by the subtle grace one sometimes receives afterwards. I guess this entire process embraces a balanced tension too extreme for words, but I assume that's exactly the breeding ground for authentic creation.
This is just a thought which came to me while reading your brilliant Haiku. A favorite!

Ooh, what a wonderful thought. I think that is why I relate to the ocean, it can be so calm, and yet so very destructive only moments later. Perhaps it is a women thing, or maybe I'm just too tempermental for my own good. I thought that the italic of "ripple" was well placed. Good job!
