I think that this is a great idea!

Evidently, because I have clicked on this, I too am an Austen addict, and simply love the idea of writing about girls like me... or similar to me in tastes and daydreams. I hope that you develop this idea - it has potential, and it shows in the title itself :)

I'm going to have to agree with both the narrator and many of your reviewers - Jane Austen is one of the primary reasons I'm such a hopeless romantic.

I hope this is a new story, because it looks like it should be good, and easy for me to relate to.

I also just loved the scene in general. This was very short, but it packed a huge punch.

I hope there's more of this to read at some point!

I love your stories but unfortunately the title "Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict" has already been taken. It's written by Laurie Veria Rigler and it's quite hilarious. Totally different than yours though, but I suggest it as a good read.

Hmm, I did bought Volume #1 of Jane Austen's book collection. I am only a few hundred pages through the first story (Pride and Prejudice) so I can't judge that early yet. :D

I am now told on a regular basis that I talk like a Jane Austen character. I can't hear it personally, but when I hear certain witticisms I think of Elizabeth Bennett, or when someone has the idea of interfering where they shouldn't I think of Emma. And finding romance in any form is so impossible when you're measuring them up against Mr Darcy.

I saw your story summary and realised I might have a kindred spirit.
