this is a pretty good story.

I adore this first chapter. The descriptions are wonderful and the people seem realistic. I like that Emma isn't absurd. She's not outrageously beautiful or obonxious or airheaded. She's just normal, nice, quiet. She's very unusual in that she's so... normal. At least for now. There may be skeletons in her closet that readers don't know about. :)

The one typo I may have found, though it could be that I'm just misunderstanding the dialogue, is this: “I’ll will, so shush now,” she says and laughs
