Ari Meressa 2009-08-11 . chapter 1I know you said that haikus aren't your thing but these were extremely well written. The imagery in each of these poems painted both pictures and emotions in my mind. My favorite line is in Dripped, "Gravity caught the idea". It is a perfect example of how just a few words can be powerful. Keep up the amazing work! |

 lael1bologna 2009-06-23 . chapter 1I love these! |
BedHead-RedHead 2009-06-23 . chapter 1very nice job on these, even though haikus aren't usually what you do. but i agree, I found a deeper meaning in all these. gotta say my fav is silhouettes, even though i think it has the plainest of language out of all the haikus. that's ok because it just had really great imagery behind it. awesum job! |
The-Golden-Hour 2009-06-20 . chapter 1I liked them all :)...but my favourite had to be the rain and the snow,i tend to do quite alot of Haiku but i dont put them up on FictionPress...because i think there is no point of putting it up cos there really small-even though thats what a Haiku is.XD |
Isca 2009-06-20 . chapter 1"Unlikely love blooms." This line is very powerful. Even though the world may not be ready for that kind of love, it blooms anyways, which is both beautiful and profound.
"Eyes green from crying." Interesting. Those that others envy, for their popularity or physical appearance, feel pain just as others do. Good message.
Nice cycle of haikus. :) |
Counting Petals 2009-06-20 . chapter 1Review Marathon! (See the link on my profile for details.)
I like these a lot, because they're really pretty. I especially liked "Rain and Snow" and "Facades".
I think the next step, if you feel like it, would be to make the haikus flow a little more. The one thing I didn't like was this lack of flow in each haiku, because right now the haikus seem disjointed. Each line is like a separate thought on the same thing. If you can, try to connect the lines in each haiku so they flow better. (And I'm talking each *separate* haiku. No need to connect all seven of them!)
All in all, an awesome job =)

Faithless Juliet 2009-06-19 . chapter 1These are all very good; it can be hard to write a haiku (even harder to review them) but I enjoyed each one of yours. Keep up the good work.
Much love,
Juliet. |
Hollis Winter-Summers 2009-06-19 . chapter 1My favourite was "Just Watching" because I loved the deeper meaning. When there's 7 awesome haikus on a page, it's hard to pick my favourite lines, so I'll just leave it as that one was my favourite. Wow, I said favourite like 3 times...
And I read your profile!! I'm so happy for you! =D |
