The first half (prior to the last line) was rather picturesque. I even slid my own tongue along my teeth just to capture the same sensation you were discribing.

"Sometimes I'm just in it for the texture" - that can mean all kinds of things: food/lovers/music, anything really.

This poem made me think, good job.

You have the ability to turn a mundane into something special. That's a gift, really. The tone of the final line, "sometimes I'm just in it for the texture," is so honest it's almost comedic. Creative piece, as always. :)
