Reviews For: what every poet wants
Lux d'Marcs 2009-06-28 . chapter 1
I am curious: have you ever published anything? If not, may be the site for you. It's a self-publishing website; I'll be using it to publish my work "Treacherous Beauty". If you published a book of poetry from that site, *I* would definitely buy it.

It would, at least, make it a lot easier to sit down and read all of your poetry. You're archive is bloody huge . . . . >_

Yes, I don't believe we should sport any exceedingly fantastic dreams of poetry ever being profitable. True enough- poetry is one of the most anti-capitalist past-times the world knows and even more so, if it doesn't know.

how every poet should bleed, straight from the heart.
your poetry is alive, i think.
Faithless Juliet 2009-06-20 . chapter 1
I'm kind of on the fense with this notion - one part of me believes that a writer shouldn't care what other people think, while the other part of me thinks that they should.

The trick is to write what you want, while still allowing others to understand, and feel it.

You discribe that internal struggle well here. It's not the best you've written, but like the last one I read, it made me think.

Much love,
Juliet.

This is an interesting poem and very true for all writing in general, and doesn't apply merely to poetry. I like how you incorporated subtle imagery into a poem that appeals to all writers out there because in the imagery, I can see the hard word and effort that's put into every stroke of the pen/pencil. I also like your word choice because it blends in beautifully with the message you're getting across and that itself, makes the poem come to life. Great job! Thanks for the lovely read!

Thank you. I'm glad to know that someone else out there is not writing for fame or fortune, but because they want their words to live inside the hearts of other, so that they can move others the way they move us. :)
