Um, I have no idea what you mean. Because this is... what was it? crazy and beautiful and real. Seriously. I teared up because it's charming and perfect. The way Autumn felt about the homeless man seemed so, so real and I loved that entire story line, because it (warning: cheesy ahead) gives me hope, because it's like wanting to fix the world and being able to do something small and having it actually matter and that's amazing. And she and Jacob have the perfect amount of agreeing and disagreeing, and perfect and unimportant. And it's that lovely side of summer sort of feeling.

This is a fantastic story. It's realistic and sweet and made my teary. The beginning and end of your story were absolutely gorgeous. I have no criticism, and I usually only review when I have constructive crit, but I just HAD to praise you for this one.

I don't know why exactly but I really (as in really really) liked this story. Really original and well written, but what I liked the most was the man on the side of the freeway :D

Oh wow, I love it! It's so well written and moving and funny and very very cute. And kinda beautiful too, in the inclusion of the homeless guy and how she interacts with him. Keep up the fabulous work =D

Dude this was absolutely incredible!! I'm not sure why I love it so much, but I just do. I love the emotions in this piece--especially with Autumn and the man on the freeway, because haven't we all seen that man? And don't we all do what she does initially--not make eye contact? It seemed very real and I loved it.

OMG, I laughed really hard at Mason and Autumn's break up speech thing, and I'm not sure why. I think Mason is my favorite character in this entire thing, even if he is way too passive.

And I love Jacob, too, especially the way he progresses in Autumn's eyes. At first, she doesn't even know his name, but then he becomes something more. Love it.

One little nitpicky thing: how old are these characters? Old enough to live by themselves? I was a little confused because initially I thought they were teenagers but then in the end Autumn mentions going to "our apartment," which I guess is hers and Jacobs? That was just something that stuck out for me. Besides that, though, this was absolutely brilliant.

Sounds a bit hippie-like, but I love it. I think I love Jacob too. I'll find my Jacob, I think. Nevermind, I should go to sleep, I'm starting to sound blonde. And I am blonde, but whatever. Love!

And I loved one more line. "Jacob groans and my heart is warm like bare feet on the summer sidewalk."

It makes me sigh happily. Really happily. Thank you! Your writing really makes me happy sometimes.

By the way, am I not totally ninja? What with the logging out and posting another comment because I failed to include it in the last one?

Uh... Eh... Anyway! I really loved it! Jacob and Autumn and the man. And his eyes and Jacobs smile and her colorful sunshine and sky.

And man, I loved this line!... (uuh...)

["No, it's just that—well, my last girlfriend never let me pay for anything. It was pretty annoying."

I chew on a soggy fry thoughtfully. "Ah, the chauvinist and the feminazi. That's cute. Why'd you break up?"]

Lines, I guess.

But her response, mainly. The chauvinist and the feminazi. Definitely interesting and awfuly wordish in that amazing sense that makes you smile.

You know what?

Everytime I read something you write, I totally feel it, no matter be it sad or serious or totally hilarious. Then I read your A/N, see the "YAYAYYAA" there and crack up no matter which emotion I was feeling.

Then I crack up like a rabid raccoon, like I'm in some super-evil-spy movie when an idiot ducks into his hand and... cracks up. Well. Uh. Eloquence. You know how it is :)

Anyway, then I stop cracking up and kind of let the story settle.

I just wanted to let you know that the whole "YAYAYA" makes me laugh and grin and imagine a crazy ** jumping around a fire with an axe.

But the sky is colorful and it makes me want to drink lemonade. I'd let you build the stand. I just wanna get sticky, mate.

That was really cute. When I read the summary, it seemed sad so I was hesitant to read this, but I'm glad I did. I like it.

I'm a little uncertain how the homeless man ties into their romance, but I guess it's because she cares? I don't quite know? But this was very cute and sweet and creative and quirky and I loved it, and I'm very glad the wicked monkey added this to our c2. (:
