And what a "love scene" that was. I'm not use to you adding a scene like that!
Looking good, awaiting the next chap.

YES! I managed to squeeze this one in before I had to leave tonight.

I have to say, I like the style of this chapter as exposition is given while the plot progresses forward like a train. It reminds me of a very well-written episode or issue of a comic book, very action packed but with enough context to allow substance to unfold as we put all the pieces together.

I will say though, I feel the rebreather introduction could have been done a little more smoother, perhaps rather than the narration explaining the weight and double edged nature of the mechanism, Angelina and Tiger could spring board from their correspondence when she's asking him to hurry. However I like how it's a recurring element throughout the story and contributed heavily to the "Oh shit!" moment when Tiger was lofted across the medical wing. Overall though, the recurring element did deliver another dimension of peril to the story.

I also enjoyed the complexity of Tigershark not only being a experiment of sorts himself, but also providing of bit of credence to the disposition that gemue share as persecuted victims and why they would become so hostile or bitter, as well as eluding that their creator could have a major vendetta against humanity himself. It was as if doing some sort of a round-robin on the collective, similar motives of all parties involved and ultimately the decision which makes Tigershark stand out from the others.

All in all, it was a great chapter and I’m really enjoying the self-contained nature of this story. There’s a learning curve, but after a brief elaboration this series is quite accessible if one was struck effectively enough.

This was a good chapter, I found myself reading some parts more then once and actually had a hard time turning my attention from it. I love this chapter!

I was cruising around to see what the atompshere was like in the science fiction category and came across your profile. I read the entry about reviews and sympathized as I myself have undertaken big projects only for them to fall flat and decided to give you some support...

I have to say, on paper as well as for the first few paragraphs I was a little timid. The organic way of introducing Tigershark's unique build and traits struck me with a mixed reaction but the smoothness was noteworthy and so I stuck with it. Surprisingly, it seemed as though the more the story went on the more detailed it became. The depiction of a rather far-fetched protagonist before a backdrop of a realistic setting was well done and I don't know if it was due to multiple uploads (been there before x_x) or just that you were more in your literary comfort zone but it was definitely well thought out.

Eh, I've had a love/hate relationship with my stories as well, but the best advice I can give you is to make yourself happy first. It's a lot more rewarding to slave over a work you're proud of than work yourself to the bone doing things eveyrone else says you should be doing x_x.

Anyway, a great premise and narrative style, I will definitely be back.

Nice work. It was hard for me to believe that Tigershark had a sharks head for a while but it was explained later so that's ok. Check out my story, it has two names that you mention in yours in it; Theodore and Cortez. Intresting hey! I'll read and review the next chapters soon.

Ciao!

Corey.

This is a darned good start! I'm remembering bits and pieces of it from the first time around, and I definitely think you've improved this version with details and actions. The descriptions of him out in the ocean are very good!

I definitely can't wait to see where this leads!
