I know I've said that I love your poetry before, but I really do love your poetry. This was beautiful. I love the contrast between the happiness and the suffering, and how the narrator isn't sure which is which. The situations that we see as terrible are the ones that she clings to the most (I think--you can tell me if I'm interpreting this incorrectly).

Anyway, I got your PM! I was going to send you a return one but it doesn't appear that you have PMing turned on, so I just thought I'd mention that.

"We are happy now in this land of plenty." The tone of this opening line is rather spiritual.

"We hear smiles." That reminds me of talking to someone on the telephone--you can often tell when they're smiling.

"O, how I miss our suffering." The line between pain and pleasure is often blurred.

I really adore the last four lines, they sort of sum up the whole poem and it's all very relatable.
