I like this a lot. I think the beginning creates such a powerful image. It's an awesome start. I also like how you allude to the n ightmare and this guy, but don't go into this guy. It creates a nice sense of mystery. I also love the detail about your parents. That similie is great because it makes it so personal and unique.
