i started this story a while ago and i was so thrilled that you updated ! i've only reviewed once or twice and i'm really sorry that i haven't been able to do justice to this fabulous thing. i haven't read jaded, which is a real shame but i'm loving this story, even though we're not too far in yet. since it's been forever since i last read this story, i decided to read it from the beginning and even went through it more thoroughly to make up for my lack of support.

chapter 1
'GI rolled my eyes' --> 'I rolled my eyes'
'far be it' --> 'far from it'
'want the frat at Bryce's party' --> 'want the frats'

chapter 2
'what do you get off' --> 'where do you get off'

chapter 3
i like how although sheldon appears to be tough, her soft inside shines through, and is still conveyed, particularly in the more girly aspects of her character, like her tendency to throw tantrums and the feminine way she dresses.
'hoping for a repeat, aren't you' should have a question mark on the end.
'with a ripped overalls' --> 'with ripped overalls'
'i could whatever-his-name' --> 'i could tell'

chapter 4
'or i had thought we were' --> 'or i thought we were'
'guys that was always' --> 'one of the guys who were always'

chapter 5
i like their 'rules'. it's so childish but not. their bond - corrigan, bryce and sheldon is so strong it's crazy. i mean at first i couldn't even wrap my head around the fact that they hadn't seen each other for a year and they're all fine again. but it's brilliant. i think you're awesomely clever for coming up with this kind of dynamic between the main characters.

chapter 6
'i don't marcus' --> 'i don't want marcus'

chapter 7
'gave me a wide birth' --> 'a wide berth'
from the start i thought that leah would become a friend or at least not an enemy of sheldon's and i was kind of right in this chapter. they definitely had a moment. i think that although sheldon doesn't see herself as one of the guys and doesn't feel any association with the frats, she is somewhat subconsciously possessive over them and that's why she reacts the way she does to leah, who is kind of, moving in on her territory i suppose you could call it. either way leah and sheldon have an interesting relationship.
cadence's reaction to sheldon's answer kind of scares me. kind of like there's more involved. but maybe i'm just over-analysing things.
'why with the questions' --> 'what's with the questions' or 'why the questions'

sorry this is kind of long but hope it's helpful. i'm honestly loving this story and really hoping that you update a lot more often. thanks for updating :)

Why doesn't the counselor want to see her?, im so confused poor sheldon.

Damn I've missed Sheldon - and you. I was wondering where did Tijan go? But I decided not to bug you because hey, life's been hectic for me too :)

I used to think that all your characters seem to be a little too 'tough' as in they're all guy kind of girl - all male friends, attitude, confrontational, can be rude but loyal to friends - that stereotype? But then Sheldon makes cliche look good. What sets her apart from some of your other, older work is that she doesn't just have the one emotional weakness, tragic past or whatever to make the reader sympathize. She's a more developed character in she actually does HAVE a weakness and she's affected by her experiences just like the rest of us. We see the impact of murdering someone on the way she behaves and it makes her more humane as opposed to the flawed but perfect mary sues although she is still basically a touch girl. I'm not sure if I'm expressing myself very clearly... haha.

Just know that I really enjoy reading her story? :D

Amazing story update. I'm really interested in what you have developing with Connor and with Corrigan. Whatever it is with Corrigan must be pretty big because you seem to allude to it in a lot of the chapters. He must've either did something very, very bad or he fell in love with Sheldon or something.

sheldon seems so much younger in this story. more fragile. have corrigan been inlove with her? feel strange to see her so weak.
