This has some really great imagery in it, and really captures the feel of some moods- in particular, the line "And when 'I love you' was more feared than shared" is such a vivid, understandable line for me. The mental picture of "pianist hands" was spectacular as well.

The real strength in this piece is, I think, the balance between the sentimental and realistic. The part where the Girl remarks on the narrator's hair is both sweet and realistic-I don't like love stories where two people can see no wrong in each other, and while a *hairstyle* is hardly a character fault its nice to see human preference in a romantic character. The description of the haircombing is great too, I can really see it happening.
