This is a lovely piece. Is it about the stars or is it metaphore?

As you know, I am not poetically inclined. I will say that the end of the poem is what I expected it to be.

It is strange, but the beginning of the poem reminded me of a Pink Floyd song called "Pigs on the Wing". I think it might be a similar beat.

Anyway, the poem is sweet.
