not being able to sleep for me is the worst king of punishment. i used to have mad scary dreams when i was younger but then my grandmum did this elaborate prayer, ritual thing. its much better now; i've woken up screaming just once this year.

I have thoroughly enjoyed your story so far and this chapter has been no exception. The mystery has been unfolding and deepening at a nice pace. The allusions have been fun, though sadly I know I am not getting all of them. I fear you are much more well read than I.

There was one section in Chapter 2 that bothered me, though. There was a brief mention of Sunday skipping a couple of grades when she was in school. I assume this is to emphasize the fact that she is highly intelligent. It would make her disappearing from the system more noticeable if she was a student that so excelled. Also, it would mean that she would know her first and last name (whether she skipped grades or not). For me this raises the question of whether she is not aware of it or if she has intentionally shed that pre-street identity (as it becomes relevant when she gets her driver's permit). Clearly not a major issue, but your story got me thinking and this was one element that didn't seem resolved in my mind.

i was just as annoyed as sunday was when remiel said he didn't have all the answers, i was yelling "he came to deliver a message and he doesn't even know the whole story!" obviously i was hoping to get some answers just like sunday. all i got was my mother looking at me like i was insane. anyhoo. i enjoyed the chapter and i liked how you wrote the flashback exactly like a memory.

I love your characters so much! You write them so well and weave them together with the plot and each other so incredibly, and it just makes your stories a joy to read. I liked the chapter, and you did a really good job writing Remiel androgynously.

i m more confused than ever. who is remiel? y did it tell sunday so many things?

This was a good chapter, I'm glad I finally had time to read it . . .even if I have an 8:00 class tomorrow morning and it's 1:15 now. Oh the joys of college!! And so Peter knows the truth about Sunday's past as well. I think it's endearing how nervous he was in the Brothel. I know that he must have an agenda for being around Sunday, but I really hope it's not bad because I like him.

great chapter! i like all the characters they are so interesting and mysterious but Legion is my favorite for some reason.
what is the payment exactly? if it's money Bastian shouldn't have any trouble paying coz he IS rich. so it makes me wonder if its money or something else but they are referring to it as blood Money so...
