This poem is rather abstract, and yet, the message is clear. It's important to let your loved one's rise to their full poetential. I really liked that the speaker ler her lover 'be the moon' for awhile--that's beautiful! :)

I liked the notion of letting someone go and be a part of something beautiful, even if it means being away from theme. That's the sense that I got when I read the first part about sending them to the moon. Lovely work.
