Great one-shot, I haven't actually seen one quite like this before. Written by the point of view of an horse, you captured greatly the feelings of the horse. I suppose its also because of the horses you had in your life, you can understand them quite well.

this is a beautiful story.. i love horses and i've wanted to own one since i was 8. 12 years later and i still do want a horse and i'm envious you have gotten to work with them and train them and be around them. This story is sad but it's also very inspirational for me. I'm so sorry about your loss. I hope to have the same relationship with a horse in the future.
