Wow. This is great. Truely beautiful. The imagery and message really hit home.

Good metaphor =) reminds me of this WWI poem called 'Falling Leaves'. You make the falling of leaves seem natural - though it is painful it is the inevitable change happening when the time is right. Stanza 1 is emotional and stanza 2 seems rational & perhaps even cold: "Fall is everlasting, just as War is now for men." I enjoyed the shock of that last line.

Great topic with quite colorful imagery. I like that you held onto rhyme scheme that didn't sound forced or make the poem into something cheesy.

WOW that was a really good analogical poem! I particulary like the first two lines of the second stanza (like red, a field of poppies, like gold, a heated sky, these men, these leaves, these hearts; they fight, they fall, they die.) really powerful. me likes!

Very moving; touches the heart and mind to create a thought-provoking mood. Good use of rhyme.
(Does "Mirabella" mean "Goodlooking" in Italian?)
