"When the foe we're trying to escape is buried deep inside." I really like the pain and angst in this line--it's sad to think that we are our own worst enemies.

"The enemy is your mind." Perhaps that is why people turn to escapism--they cannot bear to be left alone with their own thoughts. What a powerful line! :)
