I rather like the inner conflict concept,
and you did a very good job of amplifying it and creating an atmosphere in which emotions flood the page.

"What doesn't kill me makes me stronger." That's what everyone used to tell me when I was depressed lol.

I loved this poem. It was dark yes, but I could literally feel the emotion it. I loved the whole battle concept that was going on, really great job :)
