Oh goody! Another chapter, I've been waiting and waiting for this. I did like the interaction between Salus and Hannibal, seems that it does read better with Salus 'not' fighting Hannibal over what happened earlier giving Salus that mysterious look about him if he really was sincere with his younger brother. Good call on that one.
Looking forward to reading The Devil's Own too.

With a new chapter comes new powers. How sweet is that!? Could have been longer, I finished it before I even realized I was at the end. But I do like how things are coming along with poor Cherlize.

Another stellar chapter! Adrianna is a compelling and complex character. I like how down-to-earth she is, and how bluntly she handles things. Really gives you a sense of her wild nature. Also, I'm loving the descriptions of this world. Very vivid. Definitely another wonderful job!

Well it's about time (I understand why, the wait)! Seemed like I was waiting forever for this chapter to get up, I was dancing on needles wondering just how someone was going to find out. Looking forwad to the next one.

Ashlan makes a good foil for her, someone nurturing and caring, whereas at this point she's probably one hundred percent survival minded.

You dirty, dirty little girl. This chap goes to show that everyone has that "dirty" side to them.
First of all, I like the exstentric (probally not spelled right) character, Lord Gustav, sort of like a likeable character, in a disgusting type way. ^^ The bit you added between him and the servant showed the kind of all out devil he is. I also like how this first chapter is laid out, where it tells what's going to happen later on the story and what it's about. Even if there wasn't any summary for it, this chap just explained all that.
So, good job on the whole thing. Gonna try to keep up with this one.
