In Greek mythology, Cupid/Eros does have a girlfriend. Her name is Psyche ("Soul") and she has to go through all sorts of crazy tests set up by his mother Aphrodite to prove herself worthy of him. It's an interesting story. You might look it up.

Wow, this story is awesome. I greek mythology, poems like this often become my favorite!

"You seem alone to me." I found this line so intriguing - why would Cupid be alone when he's in a relationship with Psyche? Perhaps his mother, Venus, is the speaker and realizes how hurt Cupid is when she insists that her son make Psyche fall in love with someone else.

"You are ever-faithful." Again, I found this line to be very interesting, as Cupid is the god of 'erotic love,' not 'true love.' It seems that Cupid 'goes against his nature' here if he's 'ever-faithful' to someone.

I like that you twisted this Greek Myth into something that was your own - keep up the good work. :)

Very sweet and touching. Actually the Roman Cupid was derived from the Greek Eros, the physical embodiment of passion. And he did have a sweetheart - Psyche, the spiritual side of love. That's why you delicate gals make us lusty guys court you romantically.
