Just finished reading chap 4 (: I love James!
Great plot, interestingly juicy!

i can't wait for more. it does feel a bit cliched actually because the characters are put into positions that have been played out before. Although, she's a different side of a cheerleader, James is a typical badboy with looks and a big ego but secretly smart, and Keegan is the all likeable guy - and she's struggling between the two. So the roles they play is very familiar, the only thing is that Keegan is in a relationship already, and we don't have any picture of how serious that relationship is.

It is a typical love triangle now isn't it?

But still, I really can't wait to see how it will play out. The scene with that puny kid trying to steal her first kiss was hilarious. Love it.

I don't think this is too cliched at all. I absolutely love it! I'm so glad to read another story by you, it's exciting! :)

Keegan seems like a great guy, who wouldn't want someone like him? James is a bit more intriguing to me, mainly because I am imagining possibilities of where this might go between him and Audrey. He definitely has an arrogance to him, but it's not the normal cocky kind. He knows he's wanted, but he's not using that to his advantage. Plus how can he not have a bit of an arrogant attitude at least every once in a while when he has girls chasing him all the time. At least he doesn't use them or lead them on. He is not a jerk just because he can be. I respect him for that. I like him, I like him a lot. :) I can't wait to see how things turn out. I'm glad you're determined to finish this story as soon as possible. :D

This is such an interesting and unique story. Keegan is cool...though I wish his presense didn't torture Audrey. And at times I like James, but when he starts acting all apathetic, it does get pretty annoying. I really hope you're able to update soon because you've left me dying of curiousity on what will happen with Audrey at school. Is it going to be the new trend with the guys to try to steal her first kiss? If so, shame on them, but it does make the whole story that much more interesting and dramatic.

i know you're not going to update for a while, but i really, really want to read this thing soon. its kinda cliched, yeah. but i really like james. keegan is such a.. mary sue. in male form, anyway. i enjoyed the first four chapters very much. keep up the good work.

Anyway, on to the story, I loved it! I hafta say, I like James a whole lot more than Keegan, but I've always like the 'bad-boy' types, so xD

Hey, I'm an old fan with a new pen name. I like this. It's different. It has some cliche things in it, but really what isn't cliche anymore. Anything with sterotypes can seem cliche these days. You have good characterization and a way of working the plot to your advantage and making readers (at least me) want to know more.

I checked on your profile because I was impatient for an update, so I'm kind of disapponted that there won't be one coming anytime soon. I'll be great being able to read the story in one go though, so I guess I'll just have to suck it up.

After reading the first chapter, I thought Keegan was the love interest, so I'm glad you brought in James next. He just seems more... interesting, I guess.

And I love, love the twist where all the boys are going to try kissing her. :D

While on your profile I read your opinions on YA books and (apart from those I haven't read) I agree on practically all of them, lol. Hate Twilight with a passion too, and you were right to discontinue PC Cast's series. It's horrible - I dropped it after the second one. I didn't like City of Bones either, but I have to say the second and third book are way better. It's one of those series that actually improves. :)

I couldn't get into Wicked Lovely, but I liked Melissa De La Cruz's series... only I wish I'd known there are going to be SIX more books. That's just too long a wait.

Anyway, I hope you have fun writing the story and I look forward to reading it!

I'll totally respect your decision, because being plagiarized would be a horrible thing to have to go through. If you do stop posting here please start posting in livejournal! I haven't gotten added yet, but hopefully I will so I can continue to read your stories. I'm really excited for the next chapter. It'll be funny to read how boys will try to kiss Aubrey. I really liked that James got a flower for Aubrey as his way of saying sorry. It was sweet.

A small mistake I noticed: "...thinking about the one gave it." - You forgot to add 'who' in between 'one' and 'gave.'

I think this story is great. The plot is a bit cliché, but at the same time you write it in a way that makes it okay - it's like Audrey *knows* that she's living a cliché.

I do like James and Keegan, even if I think James should drop the "I'm invulnerable and not caring"-act. And is Keegan starting to like Audrey..?

Can't wait to read more. Especially after what that ending sort of promised... :D

i liked at the beginning how you had the conversation with the girls..it seems like a lot of times in fictionpress stories, theres no dialogue, just descriptions and such. its not too cliched, but dont make audrey oblivious to james' obvious attraction to her...that would be cliched and cheesy!(: cant wait for the update!!
