letyoursoultakeflight 2009-11-02 . chapter 1Not sure why but I was not expecting the last line to this one! Another stunningly excellent poem though :) I love the forest imagery and the darker nature of it :) |
give me november 2009-10-10 . chapter 1beautiful, inspiraing. loved it:) |
the prophet apathetic 2009-10-06 . chapter 1I thought this was very beautiful. I relate strongly right now to the paradox of realities and dreams, and the way you describe it is a wonderful display of imagery. If the reader allows themself, they will be transported to a very magical scene, all the while understanding the darkness as time wears away the illusion.
Tip of the hat to this one. |
Narq 2009-10-01 . chapter 1Oh, this is extremely powerful and good.
I like the way you did the stanzas, and I really enjoyed reading this because of the ways you described the forest.
Some bits I especially like:
"every star has the chance to shine.
None must grief, for no dream must die"
"venomous comfort"
and the last sentence was thrilling,
"Would I rather be drowned, or burnt alive?"
Extraordinary writing!

Erlkoenigin 2009-08-10 . chapter 1An impressive poem! I really can relate to this: Dreams can be more powerful than reality. My favourite line is: Would I rather be drowned, or burnt alive? |
 Mirabella 2009-07-30 . chapter 1Wonderful!
