Contests are mainly for popularity, I think. Bragging rights? Ego boosts? or, fanart. sometimes the prize is someone drawing you a front page type deal. *shrugs* I tend to do that for people just because I feel like it, not because i offer it as a prize or anything.

Anyway, I'm glad to see the spin-off up. I loved Bad Luck, and getting to read Jake's story would be interesting, even though I didn't particularly like him in Bad Luck (who am I kidding, I hated his guts, he got between Aiden and Zack...rawr). But yeah...
Great start: we have Chris the weird gay next- door, and Audrey the cute co-worker. I smell confusion and drama! I'm so sticking around for the rest.
