Wow, what a chapter! So much for rooting for the "Ahriman loves Rowe" theory. =P I can't believe Ahriman threw away Satine's wedding ring - I thought that was a really interesting scene because he went from lording it over her to just obliging what she wanted. It made me wonder if he cares about their marriage beyond its political importance.

Poor Rowe and his hallucinations, but this is really fascinating to glimpse these bizarre scenes from their childhood. So different from anything I expected, since the beginning of this story gave the impression Rowe was taken from a utopian life with his family and made to join the army. Now it seems things weren't quite so perfect.

Satine keeps saving Ahriman, muahaha, but how are they ever going to get out of there? I wonder what will happen when they get to the core. I love watching Ahriman fight with his dark side. It's rather sexy :P

Thanks for updating. I like this chapter. It flowed well; the action didn't slow down. The descriptions were good.Can't wait for further development on Ahriman's and Satine's relationship. I hope they get back together again.

Hooray! I really like seeing these two work together. Ahriman must have nerves of steel to do all this lifting and tugging with a relocated arm. His reaction to realizing he was stuck in the water was really interesting as well. I'm glad Satine saved him, and also sort of pleased by her second thoughts about doing so. I wonder what's going on with Rowe through all this? Really awesome chapter, Keep going!

Oh man! This is getting so good! The descriptions and the flow are extremely natural, and I love what's happening to the characters. Well not that I'm happy Rowe's poisoned and Satine's unconscious and god knows how hurt Ahriman is, but the suspense is awesome! This is my favorite chapter so far. I can't wait to know what happens! Please make more!

Thanks for updating since i've been waiting for you to update. Waiting to see where the plot goes. I didn't know Satine had such deep feelings for Rowe that she would do anything to save him. I guess since she considered Rowe saving that she feels obligated to save him.

Dun dun dun! I like the quote, it's a good teaser for the book. It might be good to use Ahriman's last name so it has more of a 'quote dug up out of a book' feeling. I'm excited that this story will have more about Ahriman, since he's an interesting, if not especially likable, character.
