Lovely imagery!

I liked how you played with color and fantastical qualities in this poem. Your opening use of ‘canary yellow’ and then ‘white’ was very strong, and I liked how they played against each other. Colors have a way of showing emotion, and each on is different, and I liked that you chose the ones that you did.

Although I think the first stanza was wonderful, I feel like the rest of the poem didn’t follow suite. It felt drab and lackadaisical. It just didn’t have the same playful/sharp vibe that the first section had. Keep up the good work.
