"My heart still longs for you." The tone of this line is so heart-breaking and moving.

"Did you run away, Mattie? Is that why I've lost you." Oh wow. This part is incredible. I like the idea that Mattie 'ran away' and found Death.

"And you're never coming back." This is my favourite line from the poem - it's so intense. :)
