"The candle stub goes weak at the knees." I like this line - there's something very 'cute' and interesting about it.

"Tick-tocking tremors." Nice alliteration. Excellent use of onomatopoeia. :)

This is nice. It's delightfully cathartic, in a very dirty, gritty sense of the word. I like the way the words steamroll each other and all twine together to realate in the strangest ways.
