I had to read this because I love this song.

This is really sweet and sad. Especially the end, because it almost makes it sound like there's no way they'll ever see each other again. But they have hope, and that's the most heartbreaking part.

Great song. Great story. I was actually listening to it when I was reading, and it put me into the perfect mood for what was going on. I have no criticism to offer; your prose is polished, your dialogue realistic. And the tenderness of the relationship captured with the same essence of hope that dominates the song.

For the purpose which you wrote this piece, it was very well done.
