"The system is about to fail." The tone of this line is very powerful. A sense of impending doom is very clear here.

"This is where innocence ends." Wow.

"They rigged the doors with homemade bombs." That's really intense. This 'dark' imagery (i.e. evil actions/bombs) contrasts the 'light' imagery (i.e. the innocent children) so well.

I love that the poem began and end with the line, "The world is silent as a grave." It tied the poem together wonderfully.
