This story is thus far a real webpage turner... scroller? whatever, it's damn good. I hope to see more about this 'weathered' not-so-gentleman in the future. Keep it up! Only thing I might mention is that the comment about "is that whats it's like to be human?" seems contradictory with the hinted fact that he used to be human. Now, it is possible that it was just so long ago he doesn't remember, but since the bartender seems to know him from his previous life, that seems unlikely. But other then that, very well written. Keep it up!
