Isca 2009-08-21 . chapter 1
"While I freeze myself." I like this line. The speaker definitely seems to be afraid of what will happen to her if she lets herself 'open up' to the 'heat/passion' of love.

"A winter-rotted bulb." This line is very creative and unique. Nice description.

The reader pities the speaker by the end of the poem. The speaker realizes that the kind of 'true love' that she's looking for isn't often found anymore in this world - all that's left now is 'one-night-stands' and such. She'd rather distance herself from love than succumb to the trivialities of love in this world. I admire her for that. :)
Scared Loveless 2009-08-20 . chapter 1
You do seem scared of love, not against it or anything, just scared of the pain that can come if you allow yourself to love. This reminds me of a quote I once heard 'you only accept the love you think you deserve'. I may not know you well, but I know enough of you to know you deserve all the love in the world, accept it.

That was absolutely amazing. Your word choices, your description, your structure - complete genius. It was so emotional, so captivating, that I just love this a lot.
