This sort of feels like a video game version of the Matrix. Not that it is abad thing but I felt kind of lost as to what the setting of the story was.

Something I learned from reading this: We should try to AVOID self-teaching artificial intelligence. That is, if these are robots. If they're actual people, then I have no idea, but I would like to see more.
