|Reviews for Choices|
| Solemn Coyote 8/27/09 . chapter 1
I think what you have here are three poems masquerading as one. There's kind of an abrupt theme skip between "Choices, we are all given them./Be careful what you say,", "Does it spare people pain?/My head is spinning,", and "Which have protected me?/Choices, we are all given them.".
The middle piece, which goes from "My head is spinning," to "Which have protected me?", is a really good stand alone. The other two might need to be developed a little bit more. However, all of them seem to want to be separate. If you really want to preserve this poem as is, I would recommend trying to link the ideas of truth, fiction, choices, and confusion by more than just the way you thought about them in sequence.
