Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed reading this story. I liked your writing style and found your descriptions to be very effective.

The one thing I didnt get, and this may be due to my own stupidity, is what is she? The changes she went through suggested that she was becoming something different and the events in the park suggest a strength beyond that of an emaciated teenager, so what did she become?

Good work, look forward to reading more. Maybe you could write an epilogue about what becomes of Emma and Ryan and how they deal with everything that happened. :)
