I like that you started and ended the poem with the same words, and that last statement gave me shivers, it was so final. It seems very familiar, like knowing someone your whole life, which I suppose doubt is.

This almost gave me shivers: cynicism and doubt made tangible. I especially like how the familiar way it speaks emphasizes the fact that it's rooted deep inside us, whether we like it or not. Very nice.
