Louis Denair 2009-08-31 . chapter 1I rather found myself quite delightfully mesmerized by this piece. The rhythm and tone is exceptional, just perfect. The imagery is quite mystic. The Spring to Autumn hierarchy is very profound and meaningful. You _feel_ the transient waves of life stream and pass you by. You touch the pulsating heart of desperate existence and I know the feeling conveyed so artfully at the end.
"in august the bubbles take
a little more time to
freezeā¦"
I love this metaphor. I could easily envisage brazen teenagers who simply need to fly to know the pain of falling. They cross the line of safety and tread the groundless realms beyond the tangible only to find they merely scraped the surface, hardly tasting the mind-blowing air of true liberation and sulking, they come back, their heads cracking with hangover and you know- they've had their share already. They got drunk on existence. |
