I liked how you transformed something we all know, a pair of jeans, into a message.

I don't know if this is correct but I took it as... a person building up the negative and bad things (lint) in their life. Realizing it is wrong and yet continue to do it (seap into seams). Remembering what life was like before (fondling stitches).
