Aurora Corona 2009-09-22 . chapter 1WOW. Some crazy awesome stuff you're hiding over at FP, steph ;)
I like both Raspberry Nights and Lovesick (I assume you're wondering if that has something to do with the number of reviews, and my answer is no :D) Both poems, like, attack my heart (in a good way.)
Lines that made me go WTF HOW DOES SHE DO IT??!!
-When the sun drowns itself
slowly into the sea
Fraackk. That was sheer genious.
-I witness a star fall, another
promise gone -they drop like bullets-
Makes me think of Neil Gaiman's novel. Forgot the name, but it got made into a film... And I love ANYTHING to do with stars. Seriously. Those lil' twinklies make me brighten up :) I don't know how you managed to turn some cutesy thing into deadly objects like bullets, but somehow, you pulled it off! Bravo!
The summary for Lovesick totally pulled me in! There are no particular lines which stand out like WHOA, but OMG. The concept behind it and how you protrayed the girl's thoughts were wonderfully genuine and naive.
So these 2 poems are on my top choice list, and I'm not THAT sure about how they run VOiCE so I'm going to send in an email to confirm some miscellaneous concerns.
